 Robert Brown, President

Mr. Brown is President Torrefaction Processes, Inc.  He is also the Managing Partner of The Brown Firm, specializing in business and labor law.  Prior to starting The Brown Firm, Mr. Brown was a Partner at Brown, Cummins & Brown and a Lecturer on Law at the University of Cincinnati Law School.

Mr. Brown is a successful real estate developer.  He serves as manager of Tricon Properties Ltd., Fourth National Realty, LLC, Fenner Properties, LLC, BDRA Properties, LLC and Steger Properties, LLC through which he has developed and currently manages 600,000 square feet of office and industrial space.

Mr. Brown serves as manager of Triplefin, LLC and National Patient Services, LLC.  Both companies provide third party logistic services to pharmaceutical companies and are on the Inc. 500 list of America Fastest-Growing Companies.  The two companies have combined revenues of over $150 million.  He also serves as President of the Cincinnati Freezer Corporation, a cold storage and logistical provider with 1.6 million cubic feet of freezer space.

Mr. Brown has a Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati where he was editor of the Cincinnati Law Review.  He also has an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University, where he was editor of Tax Law Review.  He is a member of the Ohio State Bar.

 

Dennis L. Speigel, Vice President & Secretary

Mr. Speigel is Vice President and Treasurer of Torrefaction Processes Inc.  Internationally recognized as a leader and expert in the theme park / leisure industry with 50 years of professional experience, Mr. Speigel directs International Theme Park Services, Inc. (”ITPS”) with exceptional business and solid financial judgment, creating success for the clients of ITPS.

Previously at Taft Broadcasting,  Mr. Speigel oversaw the development and daily operation of Kings Dominion (Richmond, Virginia) and Kings Island (Cincinnati, Ohio). With the company, he was directly responsible for overseeing and assessing potential leisure sites in foreign markets, including Singapore, Australia, Japan and England.

A graduate of Morehead State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree, Mr. Speigel is also past President of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (“IAAPA”). IAAPA is the global association representing leisure facilities and suppliers / manufacturers around the world. He has chaired many committees and special projects for IAAPA, and currently serves on the Board of Directors. Mr. Speigel was appointed as Premier Advisor to China’s Association of Amusement parks and Attractions  (“CAAPA”). In this role, he advised on all matters pertaining to safety and other industry related matters.

In 1983, Dennis Speigel formed ITPS to fill the demand for practical knowledge and hands-on experience in leisure and attendance driven industries. ITPS works with and values the goals of each project – small, medium and large.  As a full service organization, ITPS is qualified to provide complete consultation and management services in the areas of: Theme Parks, Amusement Parks, Resorts, Waterparks, Specialty Attractions, Family Entertainment Centers, Malls, Aquariums, and Zoos. ITPS has pioneered the establishment of industry standards for devising and planning the necessary and specific operating programs for theme parks and attractions worldwide.

In its 28-plus years, ITPS has worked on over 450 projects in 45 countries, including Brazil, Spain, Singapore, England, Spain, Philippines, Korea, China, Argentina, Russia, Cyprus, and many more.

Most recently, ITPS has been the prime consultant for Parques Reunidos and has been responsible for the acquiring of more than 40 leisure properties.

These transactions have resulted in approximately $700 million U.S. of capital transactions.

 

Murray Sinclaire, Vice President & Treasurer

Mr. Sinclaire is Vice President and Secretary of Torrefaction Processes Inc.  He is a Founding Partner and Principal Owner of Ross, Sinclaire & Associates LLC with twenty plus years of experience in portfolio management, investment banking and fixed income security syndications. Mr. Sinclaire directs and manages all RSA business lines for all offices of Ross, Sinclaire & Associates LLC.

Previously Mr. Sinclaire was Managing Director of Merit Financial Corporation where he established and managed all aspects of the fixed income securities operation and coordinated the Limited Partnership Program.

He also served as President of Zomar Enterprises where he served as an investment banker specializing in syndication of limited partnerships and as a portfolio manager specializing in the high net worth sector.   Mr. Sinclaire was previously Executive Director of Earthward Bound Foundation, a non-profit research and educational organizations, where he directed budgeting, fundraising, planning and operations.

Mr. Sinclaire is a graduate of Princeton University. He is an active collectors of contemporary art from both local and national artists and is on the Board of Trustees of Artworks, Cincinnati Art Museum, Cincinnati Development Fund, Cincinnati Opera and Contemporary Arts Center
